At County Deer Management we recognise that whilst deer are often an admired and fondly regarded animal they do require management. We offer a FREE Deer Management Service using properly qualified deer managers to help you achieve this.
In fulfilling their position as a highly successful and adaptable prey species Deer are able to reproduce at an alarming rate, having no natural predators in the UK their numbers have therefore increased dramatically. Aside from deer culling the only limitations to their population growth are typically starvation, disease and deer/vehicle traffic collisions. Indeed some studies estimate that there is a need to cull at least 500,000 deer per year. County Deer Management are able to offer a Free Deer Culling Service to help meet these targets.
Without the selective and careful application of Deer Culling Services, deer problems have been seen to increase dramatically. Deer problems can include serious damage to farm crops, trees and shrubs and result in a considerable headache for countryside managers and gardeners alike.
There is of course also the highly publisised problem of Deer Vehicle collisions, something which can have very real and even fatal consequences.
Whilst other forms of deer control may also be explored, for example the use of deer fencing and other deterrents, it is our belief that Deer numbers can only properly be controlled by selective and careful culling.
